No Secrets. Just Mother Nature.
What is Hypochlorous Acid?
Hypochlorous acid (HOCl), a natural disinfectant, is a substance naturally produced by our own immune systems to combat infections, making it a safe and gentle choice for maintaining a clean and healthy environment at home. Our Hypochlorous Acid Disinfectant Spray has 3 simple ingredients:
Water
Water serves as the base for the disinfectant spray, providing a medium for the other ingredients to dissolve and mix effectively.
Salt
Through a process called electrolysis, an electrical current is passed through the saltwater solution, causing the salt ions to react and form hypochlorous acid.
Hypochlorous Acid
Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is the active disinfectant agent in the spray. It's a weak acid with potent antimicrobial properties, capable of killing bacteria, viruses, and even covid-19.
Gentle enough for surfaces used by children, kids, babies and pets
What the Experts Say
Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
“[Hypochlorous Acid] comprises many of the desired effects of the ideal disinfectant: It is easy to use, is inexpensive, has a good safety profile, and can be used to disinfect large areas quickly and with a broad range of bactericidal and virucidal effects.”
The Cleveland Clinic
“It’s your body’s natural response to bacteria, and it is very effective at its job. It’s great for sensitive skin. It’s not going to give you the dryness, burning or irritation of other products [such as alcohol].”
International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health
"The findings of this study have brought HOCl to the fore as a safe, yet highly effective, alternative to quaternary ammonium formulations, hypochlorite solutions, ozone, peroxide, and alcohols of various types. Collectively these results demonstrated that our treatment can be considered as a natural and green disinfectant effective in killing bacteria and viruses and appears to be safe for human health.”
